Sizing
Measure your size against our sizing chart. If you’re between sizes or prefer a relaxed fit, we recommend going up one size. As the shirt is made from natural cotton, it may shrink slightly over time, especially with heat. Always wash your shirt on a cool wash to avoid shrinkage.
What is the return or exchange policy?
Returns
Our return policy is valid for 14 days from the date of purchase. After 14 days, we cannot offer refunds or exchanges. Before returning anything, email us at sunbirdshirts@gmail.com for return authorisation.
However, please note that print inconsistencies are an intentional feature of our handcrafted process. We do not offer refunds or exchanges for print variations, colour differences, or alignment irregularities. These characteristics are what make each shirt unique and are considered part of the design.

Return Requirements:
- Items must be unused and in original condition
- All tags must remain attached
- Original packaging must be intact
- Receipt or proof of purchase required
Important Shipping Notes:
- You arrange for and pay return shipping costs
- We recommend you use tracked shipping
- We cannot guarantee receipt of untracked returns
Online Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll email you confirmation along with approval or rejection of your refund request.
Approved refunds will be processed and credited back to your original payment method within 5-7 business days.
Sale Items
Sale items cannot be returned or exchanged, whether purchased online or in-store.
Exchanges
We will replace defective products at no cost to you. However, as above, please note that print inconsistencies are an intentional feature of our handcrafted process. We do not offer refunds or exchanges for print variations, colour differences, or alignment irregularities.
To request an exchange for a defective item:
- Email a clear photo of the defect to sunbirdshirts@gmail.com
- Include a description of the issue
- Provide your original receipt or order number

Where can I try a shirt in person?
We are primarily an e-commerce business, but we can be found regularly at pop-ups across Singapore. Follow us on Instagram to find out where/when we can be. Otherwise, our online measurements are accurate, so it's worth measuring up and checking the sizing tips before you purchase.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is calculated based on your location and the items in your order. You will always know the shipping price before you purchase.
Where are Sunbird Shirts manufactured?
All of our suppliers are highly skilled, small family businesses and mostly through female-led organisations.
Our block print cotton fabric is made to order in India and is made by hand. Our cotton shirts are made in Vietnam by a small family-run business.
Our linen shirts are designed in Singapore, and made in Bali using French Linen of the highest quality. The artwork on our linen shirts is all created at Sunbird Shirts.
